Antik & Art celebrated 25. jubilee in autumn 2006 ! Since about 18 years we are already situated in Hannover's Königstraße. We are proud on the fact that our business developed to be a top address for fine antiques. This success results from our business concept, which we try to express in our logo "Antik & Art".

"Antik" stands for a wide range of goods from baroque over the neoclassical styles of Louis-Seize and Empire to the Biedermeier. We trade only furniture from these epochs, which are gilded or polished with shellac. Professional restoration and photos of the condition given before restoration are for us a matter of course. All furniture may be viewed before restoration at our depot located beside the shop. So you've got the possibility to restore an issue as you like it.

  You are looking for something special – perhaps an exceptional present? You can find at our shop rarities and curiosities around the table eg lamb chop servers or goose leg servers as well as crab or grape shears. Actually you will find a wide range of glasses from baroque era to the Belle Époque. We are very ambitious to present a huge variety of Bordeaux-glasses and wine decanters.

  “Art” stands for objects from the Art Nouveau and Art Déco. We present items made by well-known glassworks e.g. Lötz, Kralik and Saint Louis or long-stemmed wine-glasses by Peter Behrens as well as “modern” looking drinking glasses, vases and table objects of the 1920’s by Val Saint Lambert, Legras, Verlyss, Sabeno or Legrand. 

As professional dealers in fine antiques we attach of course great importance to a personal advisory service and we are sorry, that it is not possible at the internet.
